Class Offerings for Fall 2013
Play Performance Class
Taught by Hanna Klein
Meets from 10:00 - 12:00 Thursday mornings.
Expand your acting skills. This class will provide a foundation for beginning
actors and give those with a few performances under their belts a chance to go into
new territory. We will perform a one act play with roles to challenge each student.
This semester we will attempt to expand our emotional ranges from funny to poignant;
from crazy to serious. This class includes the whole deal--auditioning for your role,
learning your lines, rehearsals with your fellow actors, developing your character,
perfecting your costume and PERFORMING in front of classmates, family and friends.
Students will be cast at the teacher's discretion and must be willing to accept the
roles they are assigned. Each student will have a part. Parents will be responsible
for providing costumes as specified. Extra rehearsals may be called if needed.
Cost: $150 for 16 weeks of class + $45 registration fee per family.
If cost is a factor preventing you from being a part of our drama group, please
let the teacher know. There are many ways you could assist the director in exchange
for a reduction in tuition.
